For nearly two decades, I've watched students discover what they're capable of when they step beyond their comfort zone.
Travel gives them the chance to experience the world beyond what they've known - to connect with other cultures, see the world through a different lens, and build deeper connections with one another through intentional shared experiences that build the foundation of life-long learners.
Those are the moments that stay with them. And that's why I volunteer my time to help make them possible.

One of my favorite things about educational travel is watching students and families discover a new confidence in exploring the world. For many families, these experiences spark something bigger - a conversation about a future family vacation, or a return trip to a place that made a lasting impression.

Like the other adult chaperones traveling with our group, my travel arrangements are covered as part of the tour's established chaperone structure. I don't receive commissions, stipends, or other compensation for leading these experiences - I continue because I believe they shape students in ways that extend far beyond the classroom.
Student Educational Tours presented through Giving Magic with Steph are independently coordinated by Stephanie Ruark in partnership with the applicable educational tour provider. Unless specifically stated, these tours are not official Canfield Local School District programs or district-sponsored communications. Families should always refer to the official tour provider for enrollment policies, payment schedules, travel protection information, and contractual terms. Educational travel experiences are hosted by Stephanie Ruark and are independent from the personalized travel planning services offered through Giving Magic with Steph.
